Outspoken with no restraints to his presence when rhyming, Diabolic is one of the very few emcees left who represents the title properly. Emerging from the battle scene Diabolic has always set the tone for new up and comers from the underground to step their game up. With his debut “Liar and a Thief” which held singles such as “Frontlines” featuring Immortal Technique and “I Don’t Wanna Rhyme” he is now preparing to release his latest project entitled “Fightin’ Words”.

With his upcoming project he has already released the track called “Mission Statement” where he spits, well, statements throughout the entire track which compliments and suits the title for the record very well.

“Liar and a Thief”, now two years old, has it met your expectations?

Liar and a thief definitely exceeded my expectations thanks to the fans. With a grass roots movement you never know what to expect but in this case I couldn’t be happier.

What are the features looking like on this record, can fans expect to see some familiar artists?

I’m currently working with RA the Rugged Man on a track produced by Sick Nature. I will have a couple familiar faces involved; I think everyone will be very pleased with the direction I went.

Give us some words on your new track ‘Mission Statement’, what made that the single?

Mission Statement was a straight spitting type of thing and being that I hadn’t released any new material in a while I felt the need to give the fans something so I leaked that. I thought it would be a good way to let them know I mean business.
